We asked Tom Kerridge and Rick Stein where they would like to pop up next. They both said Bath. Rick has incredibly fond childhood memories of Bath and west country boy Tom is putting his rugby allegiances aside to bring his delicious menus to the city! They are both great admirers of the flourishing food scene and since announcing our arrival we have been overwhelmed by the support and friendliness of everyone we have met. We couldn't be more excited to meet more of the residents of brilliant Bath. Have a browse through our programme below and the screening times - please note, door opening times are one hour prior to screening times.
We'll be building a cosy Christmas theatre in Royal Victoria Park to house our unique cinematic experience from December 14th to January 7th.
Tom has created two delicious menus for your enjoyment combining the best of British ingredients to make tip top comfort food. We’ll be starting with some signature first courses including a classic Caesar salad and a ham hock terrine. Then for main you’ll be tucking into either Tom’s favourite mac and cheese with pulled pork or smoked brisket chilli con carne. We’ve also got two delicious vegetarian options of mac and cheese with a side salad or a five bean chilli and rice.
Our second resident chef is our friend Rick who returns after his spectacular season with us at Cliveden House and Chewton Glen in the summer. He is bringing his beautiful seafood to Bath with a classic prawn cocktail starter and a Meen Kulambu (cod curry) with pilau rice. As a vegetarian option his chefs will be preparing Madras curry of halloumi with tomato and tamarind, served with pulau rice, kachumber salad and chapatti.
The Gourmet Picture Company marquee will be located to the east of Royal Victoria Park on lower common, it is a closed marquee with heaters, and we also provide blankets - so will be cosy! We do not provide parking at the site but there is street parking around Royal Victoria Park, or alternatively you can pay and display at Charlotte Street Car Park.
